Ms 5chw4r7z had been wanting to go forever and despite not being a huge Jazz fan I was still up for something new.
The place is tinier inside than you would think and seating was cramped, but Kate, Jeff, Maureen and we made the best of it.
I'm used to regular bars were you just hang out and we were gabbing away until we were scolded, then just txt'd and twittered the rest of the night.
Yep, I was the guy not looking at the band, but at my phone all night.
Maureen won the baby, so I guess she's the next person to have one or something like that.
Another inside twitter* joke.
*Screenshoots provided by Jackie these aren't actually my facebook screenshots, names were changed to protect the innocent.

Bobble head night last Saturday, got myself a twister bobble head.
This is the way to go, hit the restaurant early, grab something to eat, start twittering up a storm.
pretty wild a downtown peep was there, went to our seats in the 3rd half of the game and HELLO! we're three rows in front of them.
Did you know they have 2 halftimes in hockey.
Honest, I swear.
Nothing says Hockey in Cincinnati like a giant inflatable Chiquita banana
Don't worry, they came back and won.
the hockey fan from hell. he was scary looking but very entertaining, had all the dances memorized, and sometimes his buddy with the Mohawk would join in.
See! i told ya
never did happen :-{

The Bearcats basketball program has a controversial head coach, the players have off court problems, arrests, missed classes.
After successfully moving up a division the Bearcats have endured several arrests and suspensions since the 2007 hiring of Coach Kevin Broadus.
Coach who?
Broadus of the Binghamton Bearcats.
And why do we care about them?
Binghamton is part of SUNY, who just named Nancy Zimpher as the new Chancellor of the State University of New York (SUNY)
Yes, after June 1, I bet we'll see some coaching changes in New York Division I basketball.
Who was that that said Deja Vue all over again?

If you exist anywhere in my twitterverse, over the last week you have either thought about, had a nightmare or two or even thrown up in your mouth a little over the McNuggetini.
These two wacky, crazy girls Alie and Georgia dreampt the whole thing up over what I'm assuming might technically not have been prescription drugs.
I was going to actually try this but chickened (chicken LOL) out

This may be the farthest out we've trek'd but it was worth it, Rachel and Kevin have a beautiful historic Glendale home.Showing us around you could hear in their voices just how proud of it they were.
The food was fantastic, I'm bad with this stuff, so hopefully someone *cough*foodhussy*cough* will leave a comment and remind me what it was. A stew type meat and beans dish, delish.
UPDATE: Ah Ha, mulligatawny
Thanks valereee
uh, what is mulligatawny?
UPDATED:UPDATE: For some reason mulligatawny sounds Irish to me.

The bath remodel in our new Parker Flats condo is coming along pretty good now, the pictures came out a little off color, but it looks incredible in person.

Yep, married couples got to celebrate for the whole weekend, last weekend.
Yeah!
Ms 5chw4r7z drug me to St Monica St George in Clifton because she knows I really dig those old school Catholic churches.
Then brunch at Olives.
Excellent service, the food, eh ok.

Reason #327 I have the best wife in the world.
No flowers for me, I get cigars, thanks baby!
I'm a sucker for packaging, I don't know anything about these but they look awesome. Nat Sherman has a good rep as a quality cigar.

At AVSArt last Friday, we met up with a bunch of friends at Andrews and marveled at the art. I had met Sez before but he introduced me to Gamble, the two of whom if you've been paying attention have done a bunch of stuff around town.
Loved Matthew Dayler's skateboards that he collaborated on with Danny Babcock.
And Tony Frisell's mixed media compositions were incredible.
