I think some of these academics are high in their ivory towers looking down wondering what the hell is going on. Remember when you were shushed for talking in the library?

No, I don't think twitter seperates people at all, it brings people closer together.
what are we up too now number four? still going strong, I was one of the first people there for once, had me worried that'd be it and I'd have to suspend them for the summer, but no, people started rolling in. Wasn't so much the heat on the deck as the blinding sun. But we soldiered through as best we could.
How fantastic it turned out to be last night, Senate had the doors throw open, people were hanging out, reveling in the warm evening on Vine St. Met sensational twitter friends, amazing how much everyone has in common really, but I guess just showing up at one of these events predisposes one to new experiences, people and adventures.
Originaly setup to finally meet a couple downtowners I've been stalking, half of them ended up alienated when Mynt was selected as the starting point of the downtown tweetup. I thought Tonic and Local 127 caused a shitstorm of drama downtown but its been nothing compared with the reaction to Mynt. Ok I half get and half don't get it. Just another bar downtown for me to abandon 11ish when the music cranks up and the posers show up. I love the space, the drinks, eh, OK, I stick to beer most the time anyhow. It all boils down to who you're with is how I feel and we all had a blast.
You just know, any party that begins under the watchful eye of the lady in the fountain is going to be a good party.
The Cincinnati Women Bloggers and Cincinnati Imports hosted another successful event last night bringing together many of the cities bloggers/twitters for some socializing before all the holiday crazyness gets started. I feel so privilaged and honored to know many of these talented people.
