the coming cupcake bubble collapse probably won't extend to the Taco world

I hope.
You can't turn around in Cincinnati these days without bumping into a cupcakery. Its a growth industry much like the internet at the end of the last century.
But taco trucks, if Athens, Ohio can have a taco truck why can't we?
The next best thing? Nada's taco cart at Mainstay during Bengals home games.
After day dreaming about tacos all afternoon, we beat the rush there before halftime.
For nothing, no taco's but instead sliders.
Damn if those things weren't one of the most incredible burgers I've had.

1/4 pound hunks of 100% pure beefy goodness. Did you ever dream you'd have it this good?
Just the smell had my taste buds doing back flips on my tongue.

UPDATE: Thanks Allison, I need to add the Taco cart is only in front of Mainstay during Bengals home games. They'll stay open as long as people are coming by.

  1. I got so excited when I read this, thinking I was going to skip on downtown tonight and have some taco cart tacos! One day. I'm going to watch for this taco cart business if I end up downtown at a Bengals game.

  2. a new cupcake place just opened in old milford. i drive by it when i go out there to teach. looks pretty good if one can judge the tastiness of a cupcake by signage and interior design.

  3. Taco trucks are huge almost everywhere. Columbus has enough for a blog. tacotruckscolumbus.com Maybe someone will get all crazy and open a combo taco/cupcake truck in Cincinnati but I bet the city makes it difficult to start up a food truck. I can't think of any other real reason that we don't have a ton in operation.

  4. In addition to some more taco carts and/or trucks, we need to get some more delivery. How about taco delivery by scooter?
