Jenny an interior design student at University of Cincinnati, has setup a display at Park+Vine and is selling containers made entirely out of plastic grocery/shopping bags.
How cool is that?
Recycle(or trash) bins made out of recycled bags. Its funny, when I first saw her blog I twittered her and told her she absolutely had to talk to Dan, And she told me she already had and here is the result..

Anyhow, after one of these puppies we had all the answers to love, happiness, tweetdecks and neck ties.
@kate_the_great @tcallinan and I hanging out, talking social media and what it all means and where its going. Kate has some super interesting projects coming down the pike, I'm kind of jealous of her.
Good times, Mainstay is the hit new neighborhood bar, and just a block away, how awesome is that.
I told you guys they had a pinball machine, my mistake, its video golf. Hope no one rushed down there to check it out.

Haut Chocolate road trips

The drive home and back just isn't getting easier for sure, takes me a day or two to recover usually.
But we do get bonus stops in Columbus, just like Cincinnati, there's never a lack of things to do or explore there.
On the way home Monday Ms 5chw4r7z had a monster craving for Jeni's ice cream but unfortunately we hit C-Bus too early. I had remember seeing Bakery Gingham on My Columbus Oh, a Cincinnati ex-pat now living in German Village.
After a loop of Schiller Park looking like hayseeds with our mouths open we hit the bakery.
This is not Schiller Park, but its close, next time we're up there and the sun is shining.....

Rusconi Alley

The hardest artwork in the city to photograph, you can't get far enough away to get it all in.
Going to the Athletic Club, I walked past this every weekend for a couple months before I really took a look at it, not sure what to make of it. Its definately dated, probably looked dated 5 minutes after they got it up.

it was a dark and stormy night....

And it was, raining like crazy out, at least it was warm.
Added bonus we had the entire place place to ourselves. Why did we wait almost 5 years to check out Myra's?
No idea, dumb mistake for sure.

Campus Services Building

Have you ever driven past this building on Reading Rd and wondered about it?
No?
Don't blame you, there is nothing about this old Sears building that would catch your attention.
The inside, as you could imagine is as drab as the outside, having been modeled, remodeled and reremodled over the years.
But this Easter egg is cool in a old building geeky kind of way, a 2' square access panel about a 1' off the ground, a tight squeeze through and you have...
an escalator to nowhere. At the top of the upper one and the bottom of the lower one is a brick wall.
kind of cool they were left there.

Vigils @The Know

What I like about the Know is their philosophy of what the limits of the stage should be and what a play should be and encompass. This is also what I hate about them.
When its good, it’s really really good, when its bad, it can be a train wreck.
But with Vigils they hit the nail right on the head.
The fireman bursting through the door and the ceiling of the burning building collapsing, if that doesn't send shivers up your spine, wow.
The Soul, a top-notch portrayal by Fang Du was captured by his wife exiting his body and forced to remain on Earth, reliving his last dying moments over and over. Torn between his desire to leave these memories behind, and his fear of judgment setup some of the more dramatic scenes.
The widow, Jenny Guy, also an excellent performance, torn between holding onto her dead husband’s soul and moving on with her life. Funny how it seems she had a better relationship with his soul than she did with him.
I felt the end drug out a little too long, but the cast's performance, the stage and story arc more than made up for it.
If you get a chance, see this show, the last of the season for the Know.

If that makes sense.
I feel ripped off, women get all these cool shoes and what do I get?
Yep, black or brown oxfords.
Wow.
But, men can shine in the necktie department, I got on a tie kick a couple years ago and have been rocking them downtown pretty regularly.
