Columbia Baptist Cemetery

We stumbled upon this cemetery a couple Saturdays ago while out bike riding, thought it was a small park, which in a way it is.
From Wikipedia;
The oldest cemetery in Hamilton County, Ohio. The cemetery is the site of Columbia Baptist Church, founded in 1790. Columbia is the oldest settlement in Hamilton County founded in 1788 and predates Losantiville (later Cincinnati) by a month
Almost all the original men were revolutionary soldiers I noticed.

    Recommendation: Don't get buried too close to a tree.

    After last year's wind storm, in Spring Grove Cemetery, I found a small foot stone revealed by an uprooted tree. The tree had completely covered the stone.

  4. I've went there a long time ago, before I knew about Stites' role in early Cincy history. Had no idea he was buried there!

    I wonder what he would think of all those flying machines half a mile from where his boat landed.

  5. They're Revolutionary War soldiers because they received allotments in lieu of their military pay.
