spotted Higher Level Art last night painting a wall at the elimination court for the AVP.
If you aren't a motorcycle aficionado a highside is a spectacular crash that usually occurs at the exit of a corner when the rear wheel slips then grabs suddenly flicking the rider into the sky.
If you are a motorcycle aficionado you need to get to Fuel Coffee on Saturdays for bikes and cars or every second and fourth Sunday for their motorcycle specific ride in.
This past Sunday was hot but the bikes were cool including the sickest Ruckus I've seen. It must have been tuned to within an inch of its life.

Last weeks UBBC ride out to the new Brew River Gastropub.
I kinda feel like the term gastropub is overdone.
But what else do we call it? pubwery. gastrobrew!
OK, what ever they call it, its a degustationists delight. When you go and the weather is pleasant sit outside, its a shady relaxing spot to enjoy a meal.
Just three and a half miles from downtown it makes for a relaxing bike ride along the river and through some parks. And congested? yes, but not from cars, I don't think I've seen that many bikes and runners at one time anywhere else in the city.

‘Spend the afternoon. You can’t take it with you.’ –Annie Dillard
The best way to spend an afternoon of course is with friends.
Even better if its a special occasion, like Paige's birthday.
But let's be honest, we're going to hang out and eat and drink with friends anyhow, why do we always need to find an excuse?
I don't know the answer to that except maybe its more festive if you have a reason.
Is it me or does the amount of Terry's neon signs double every time I visit?

OK, really it was one car. One crazy *ssed car. The mighty Lexus LFA, the jury is out on the looks but the glove soft leather on the dash and seats is soft as a baby's butt. It felt like a cozy place to be.
Organized by The City Flea, PARK[ED] is a value added event for Washington Park. While there are many sit down restaurants a block away they don't always translate into a meal you can carry into the park for performances.
The Flea says, "PARK[ED] is tentatively scheduled to take place Wednesday- Saturday evenings from around 7 to 10."
At other events around town you and your party may only have one choice in food depending on what truck shows up. But with PARK[ED] everyone gets whatever they're in the mood for. No running all over the place to accomplish.
