Parker Flats Friday
Hard to believe its been two years since I started parkerflats.info. It began as a way to release some frustration and mess around with blogs and some ideas I had. And it cost me a whole $1.99 from godaddy.
I pulled a picture from ever month that one was posted, just to get an idea of the progress.

The CARE/Crawley Building
An eight story atrium.
This is going to replace the Rainbow cafe as my favorite lunch spot. The food, well if its edible, that will just be icing on the cake won't it? But talk about an awe inspiring, inspirational space, you couldn't help but do great things in this building.
Love it!
Love it!
I would have to think everyone involved in the planning, design and construction of Care has to be exceptionally pleased with themselves right now. remember back when I said I hoped I could get in the "tunnel" to check out the view?
Spectacular, too bad its over looking some of the oldest, ugliest buildings on campus.

The Q
Saturday on our run through "The Q" I spotted these whimsical place mats by "Bob's Your Uncle" in Outside, love that place. once we get in Parker Flats we're going to be losing a large hunk of our savings in that store I'm sure.

Fringe Kick-off Party
It all started off at the Art Academy and we wandered around gabbing and looking at art while live classical music played in the background. After awhile we all wandered down to the Jackson Street Underground where things really took off. I always end up having a really good time at the Know, where people are always more open and talkative.
One guy though not being arty had shown up straight from his corporate job and feeling uncomfortable pulled his tie off trying to blend in. Big mistake as far as I'm concerned, why blend in?
No one will ever remember the guy who blends in.
But I can absolutely guarantee that everyone today is thinking about the 6'5" 250lb cross dresser that was walking and talking to almost everyone.
But me, guess I'll catch him nest time.
The band Eclipse, while not necessarily my thing, were really good and I enjoyed the upbeat Hip Hop .
So I now have tickets for all the shows I want to see, no one's denying 5chw4r7z his shows this year.
