Two parties and a Fringe show in one night, luckily everything is walking distance. Winemedineme's party was HOT! No really, it was, a hot and humid night, her A/C didn't stand a chance against a condo full of people. Good thing the beer was ice cold.

I had a buddy in Youngstown that used to buy and sell these chimny tops, big business in those things among collectors. People buy the weirdest things.

happiness smells like delicious pizza and good friends

Are there more birthdays in May than any other month? Seems like it this past month.
A celebration at Via Vite. During Taste. I thought, this isn't gonna end good but I was already tasting a Via Vite pizza so nothing was going to keep me away.
Not the heat, the crowds or fatigue.
But you know what it all worked out, with everyone on the Square, the restaurant was realtively empty, we basiclly walked in and picked out a table and got started.
I still can't believe all the incredible people in my life and I'm glad Epi/ventures included us Saturday night.

outside every silver lining is a dark cloud

so yeah, the most people I've ever seen at a Reds game that I attended. thought that was really awesome until I wanted a dog and a beer and had to wait in some monster lines. the first couple games this year I'd just walk up to the counter and buy what I wanted.Ok, so its cool they're playing awesome so I shouldn't take that as a negative as much as its the price to pay for some exciting baseball.
just realized I've already been to as many games this year as I made all last year.

unless you've been to a game, you can't over estimate how brilliant those flags are on the LCDs

never heard of JM MALTHAUS before. Apparently the name was trademarked in 1995 but no beer was ever brewed by the company that I could find, the trademark expired on the name in 2003. i don't know if there were a bajillion cups left over or more likely the Reds use the name to distinguish between the regular beers and the craft beers of Sam Adams and Great Lakes. So yeah, I did pay an extra dolla for Great Lakes over Bud Light.

Final Friday May

You know those magical nights, when everyones out, the galleries are hopping and the art amazing?
Yeah, this wasn't that night.
Was it the heat? A holiday weekend? The Reds playing better than they have in years?
Most likely.
Except for the huge crowd for the Park+Vine 3^rd anniversary party we almost had OTR to ourselves.

This is still one of my favorite Fairey murals.

How big is rollergirl tailgaiting getting? Cafe de Wheels showed up and did good business, there were around 10 big parties going on before the match braving the conditions, me? I stayed hydrated pounding down Sam Adam's Summer Ales.
