Ms 5chw4r7z's birthday in and around Fountain Square

its her birthday so she got to call the shots and the shot was an unpretensious happy hour pizza at Palomino's. She thought using the $20 coupon from Hoperatives to eat at Rockbottom wasn't getting it.
How come its tacky to use coupons for special events? I don't like it either but why?
Tried the Thunderhead IPA, awesome.
But how do you beat a $5 pizza from Palomino's?

Emerald @Cincinnati Art Museum

These events have gotten much better since they stopped trying to do them every month. Green, I guess is the most challenging color, not many people had green clothes, and beer and wine? Impossible to match up with green I guess.
But who cares, tons of friends so that what really matters right?

the elevator reminded me of Maxwell Smart for some reason, I love the serendipitous self portrait.

Seems to me I read a mission statement somewhere, the museum sought to promote and inspire art, creativity and new ways of seeing the world.
And he did, but the museum people however, were not amussed.

downtown was kinda off the hook last night wasn't it?
almost like a holiday, oh wait, it was a holiday, Cinco de Mayo with every bar packed to capacity and spilling out into the streets.
Fountain Square was filled with families, good crowd going there too, but Nada is where it was at.

call it paranoia, but I couldn't shake the feeling I was watched all night by a panda with high powered binoculars high atop Carew.

savin the world, one mini-tweetup at a time

Met George of Social Gumbo last week at the Northside Tavern. Interesting guy, moved to Cincinnati from New Orleans.
Another fine example of the beauty of twitter, George built up a group of Cincinnati twitter'r's to follow on his run up here and he put it to use asking many questions before touching down.
But on top of that he has some freinds here and it didn't seem like he felt it much of a stretch moving here.
Had a couple dozen irons in the fire back home, so its conna be interesting to see what he stirs up here, hes already got a bunch of plans.

got back into town after most everything with the pig was over, they still have a few streets closed down, I was worried about getting to the condo but the streets on the west half of downtown were all open by 11am.
one thing about downtown though, never a dull moment so we strolled down to Fountain Square to get our hablo on.

totally lucked out and got the very last Corona they had, just made it taste that much better.
I don't know why, the cheaper the taco's, the better they taste.

Parker Flats Friday

@brodi3man came over for moral support and helped me install an articulated arm for the TV.
You can't underestimate the awesomeociousness of swinging this thing out onto the porch and watching some Reds baseball.

No ~~Lots~~ Some beer was harmed in the instalation of this TV.

Volquez eyeballin my Nat Sherman, this thing was incredible, smelled good looked good. I didn't know whether to light it or eat it.
@brodi3man disagrees though, it totally kicked his ass, twisted his arm behind his back and made him cry uncle.
