Now we're getting into my favorite time of yeat at Parker Flats, tailgate season! Parties are the raison d'ĂȘtre. Sunday, hot and humid until that storm rolled through the air dried right out. You shouldn't take too much from preseason games so it cracked me up, viewer comments on the news, a lady complaining about how bad the game was. Two points here, who was the brain surgeon that decided that we give a crap what other people think of the news. If intelligent people would weight in it would be one thing but unfortunately its the people with nothing else going on in their lives and have nothing to say. Number two, what didn't she understand about pre season? We're watching a bunch of guys who won't make our team play a bunch of other guys who won't make their team.
So, much like the Bengals figuring out how they're gonna play this season, we're game planning our upcoming tailgates.

We have a front row seat to Paul Brown Stadium and the tribute to Chris Henry.[where:353 w 4th st cincinnati ohio 45202]best place to learn how to live downtown cincinnati ohio

The people of Cincinnati have had a love/hate relationship with Henry for years, loving the onfeild performance, and hating his public behavior. No need to elaborate, its all been said many times. No what makes this truly unfortunate is he seemed to turn a corner this year, personally and professionally showing up a more mature young man.
Chris's passing would have been tragic and is tragic in itself, but his transformation this year adds that little extra sharpness to it.

9am Sunday morning we wake up to Steelers polka and we are the champions on a 6 hour continuous loop.
These guys were beyond obnoxious, but what ya gonna do? We put up with it, and to tell the truth, once we got some breakfast and coffee its was all kind of amusing.
Not sure what I was expecting, but this was probably pretty close, a cross between a party a festival and a carnival?
We had a small party on the "tweetdeck" to watch the spectacle of the ball game and the surrounding mayhem from our Parker Flats condo.
Everyone in a good mood waving, shouting hello in good spirits, it was one giant grilling drinking mass of humanity and I loved it.

It's a weird, surreal world when I have veins sticking out of my neck cheering for.. Arizona. I love anyone who beats the Steelers.
So LeBron is already better at his job than anyone else in the world at theirs, is it fair that he may also be the greatest actor of all time too?

AP Poll Top 25
Kelly has been talking big all offseason, but so far he's put his money where his mouth is. I'm a believer, he'll make Cincinnati a college football town yet.
Donovan McNabb says, “he believes black quarterbacks feel more pressure than their white counterparts”
No Donovan, I think the only quarterbacks that feel more pressure are the ones that suck.
And talking about sucking, what happened to the Bengals? I thought one of their strenghts was special teams.
