Northside July 4th Parade

After the Reds Opening day parade, the next best parade in Cincinnati hands down in the parade that the Northside hosts every 4th of July. Rain or shine it doesn't matter, maybe I actually enjoyed this rainy parade more than last years 104° heat. I know parades give participants a reason to act out but the Northside parade you'll find just as many characters watching the parade as "marching" in it. People watching at its best.
I want to give the Northside one more shoutout and the restaurant scene that's picked up there. Tired of not getting into Taste of Belgium on the weekends? Take the Cake is an easy 6 miles away and provides an ever changing menu of mouth-watering dishes. Or craving tacos but can never get into Bakersfield? Barrio Tequileria is around the corner from Take the Cake and is every bit as good.
