Tuxedo Steak Night

You know the guys downtown who wear their dress shirts untucked to show they don't care? The thing is, they're so uniform that its a uniform and what they're really shouting is "I'm afraid to show an ounce of style, I'll get ridiculed."
These days to be a rebel you have to wear a tie.
Or even better, if you want to be the equivalent of a 60s hippy, don a tux.
A group of us did just that. It all started out with a couple guys joking around they should get decked out for dinner and it turned into 15 guys at The Precinct for steaks.
Now all girls may not act like this but the women at The Precinct were completely freaking out that we all wore Tuxedos. None of them would believe we dressed up just for something to do.

*the biggest offenders can be found at Carlos and Johnny but that might be due to it's Mason location

  4. This is great! Although the look is very different, the vibe reminds me a little of my steampunk friends.

  5. Great blog. I was just talking to a girl friend on Monday how guys all dress like bums today and never dress up! (her husband ALWAYS wears a shirt with a collar unless he is in his wood shop working..and if he runs to Home Depot, he changes clothes, then changes back for his work shop! Love it!

So glad you continue to be a rebel in a tie, Bob! :) Great photos.

It is an uber casual world . . ugh
