Green B.E.A.N. Delivery

Recently we were offered the opportunity to try a free bin. It showed up at our condo in an insulated bin, fresh and ready to go. Everything showed up as advertised, fresh and tasty. If I could do anything different I would have taken the opportunity to customize the selection but other than that we enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetables.

You can customize your order and manage the frequency of the deliveries. Its all straight forward and easy.

Go to the Green B.E.A.N. website to get more information and start your own delivery.
Use the promo code “15SCHml” and get $15 off your first order.

  1. This seems like an awesome option for people who can't always run out to buy fresh produce. We just started receiving our first CSA share and, while it's been really great, it's still strange that I'm not picking out every single vegetable myself. I guess I never realized that, in this minor way, I'd always been in control.

  2. I got a discount online on my first bin, which finally pushed me to try out the Green Bean service. I am eagerly awaiting bin #2 today when I get home from work. It's been a life saver/diet saver! this last week and I expect it will be this week as well...I'm running back to back weekends out of town for work mixed with two weekends of an intensive grad school class and there is just no time for grocery shopping in there! I even added on some chicken breasts, milk, and eggs to round things out this week. I'm pretty stoked about this :)

  3. I share the observation about "control." Since moving downtown, we've had to give up control over things we didn't expect (like bus schedules instead of hopping in a car). We also have much more control over things like our budget - since I'm not spending $540 per month on gasoline anymore (really), hopefully we'll be able to try Green B.E.A.N. this fall & winter. Nice photos by the way.

  4. So glad you posted about this - I have been thinking of trying this out myself but was always hesitant.

  5. We love Green Bean, but $35 a week is too steep for us so we only get it every three or four weeks. Not getting it weekly also makes sure we don't waste anything in the bin. I am always amazed at the great quality of each item.

  6. We've been using Green BEAN Delivery for over a year. Customer service is good, too. They respond quickly to any questions I submit to them. I'm also impressed with how easy it is to customize the bins.

  7. Where do they grow the avacadoes around here? There are many CSA's that have local produce.
