(R)Evolutions per Minute

Through the magic of facebook I had the opportunity to meet up with some very enthusiastic cyclists this past Sunday. Brent, Stacey and their 4 kids are on a three week adventure around the eastern United States and were in Smale Park to find out if cargo bikes existed in Cincinnati and if so, document them and their owners for Liz Canning's film (R)Evolutions per Minute. The whole process was interesting, and after the filming a couple of us rode the bikes around, gave and got rides, it was all pretty cool. Except for maybe mowing down a dog on a monster cargo bike with Stacey on the back of the bike, sorry @holliewould123. I think I scared your poor puppy more than he scared me.
So that was a fun and informative Sunday but by now Brent, Stacey and all are probably halfway to Troy on their bikes.

OK, so there are two guys named Noel who both live in Cincinnati and ride cargo bikes.
And I can't win the lottery.

  1. Hi Bob! Great photos and post! I am Liz Canning, the one making the crowd sourced cargo bike doc that was titled (R)Evolutions per Minute and is slowly transitioning to the name LESS CAR, MORE GO. I hope you will join the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Revolutionsperminute/
You can reach me at lizcanning@mac.com
I am excited about telling Stacy & Brent's story in the doc, about how they've replaced a car and become a family of bike advocates, and spent their summer shooting cargo bikers in several different states!! I'd love to use your photos and reference your blog, as I want the doc to be about how the cargo bike community--facilitated by online connections--can make the movement blossom. You can upload media you'd like to submit here: http://www.lizcanning.com/Liz_Canning_Creative/SUBMIT_VIDEO_FILES.html More info on the project here: http://www.lizcanning.com/Liz_Canning_Creative/Cargo_Bike_Documentary.html
Thanks Bob! Hope to hear from you
