From what I understand, they were flying out of Lunken all weekend to try both to show off the plane (make money) and to raise awareness of the goal of bringing passenger service back to the airport.

You can get a ride for $50 out at Lunken Field. It is a 1939 passenger plane.

It is a 1929 Ford Trimotor transport plane. Pretty freakin sweet.
