  2. You can get a ride for $50 out at Lunken Field. It is a 1939 passenger plane.

  3. Billywayne...I thought it was from 1929.

    From what I understand, they were flying out of Lunken all weekend to try both to show off the plane (make money) and to raise awareness of the goal of bringing passenger service back to the airport.

    Go to http://www.airliners.net/ and type in the the plane's FAA number nc8407 for the photos.

    It is a 1929 Ford Trimotor transport plane. Pretty freakin sweet.
