5chw4r7z:: the ethos of downtown Cincinnati

Revel OTR is the second boutique wine maker to recently open in OTR. We stopped in to check it out and ended up talking to one of the co-owners Anthony Maieron. Mr. Maieron told us about when he was younger his dad always made wine, then would have friends over to hang out and drink it. He said he always thought that was so cool and wanted to make wine someday.
After leaving Cincinnati for college then returning home, Maieron's father handed the wine making duties down to him. After making wine for over 10 years, and enjoying it, Anthony and his wife Jodie joined friends John and Amy Coleman to create and open Revel OTR.
Along with a first floor bar there is a second floor event space and a soon to open rooftop deck with dramatic views of OTR. Maieron took great pride in the sweat equity he and his partners have put into the place while showing us around.
