The Frameshop hosted an open house in their new Walnut Hills digs. They still have their store front on Main St. in OTR they just needed more workspace which this building on Taft provided. In addition to that we got a tour of the newest apartments in the renovated Sussane building across the street at 705 E McMillian. They haven't determined the rent yet but these apartments are palaces compared to what you'll find in OTR. Size wise at least. Just a short walk to the new Fireside Pizza location and the Five Alley Beirgarden and close to all the new energy in East Walnut Hills you can get in before the OTR rush begins when things really heat up in the neighborhood.
I didn't find out who to contact if you are interested, WHRF could probably point you to him.

UC MetroLab was also there talking about their new project this year. They did some really cool stuff with the Five Alley Beergarden last year so even though they've moved on its nice they've still kept a connection with the neighborhood.

Then we crossed the street. Remember I said they were big? The living room/kitchen is as big as my condo. The walk in closets are half the size of my bedroom.

Bunbury 2015

They announced the band lineup for Bunbury 2015 and a date change to early June so it doesn't conflict with the All-Star Game.
There are actually bands I'm interested in this year, I skipped it last year but this one is looking good.

The Art of Food

The Art of Food is always one of my favorite events. Art with the subject of food and food that is art. Its impossible to go wrong with that formula. this years art and costumes took their cue from the Candy Land board game. The Art of Food is just one of the many events the Carnegie hosts in its grand Covington galleries. This just happens to be the one you can eat your way through.

Arctic sea smoke and ice, the Ohio river is almost completely froze over this morning. The ice is dramatic out there, creaking and groaning. I never would have guessed how loud it would be. And cold, -7° according to the car thermometer.

2015 Cincinnati Auto Expo

The 2015 Cincinnati Auto Expo runs Feb. 18 – 22 at Duke Energy Convention Center. This year’s Expo showcases more than 300 of the latest cars, trucks and SUVs.
