Holiday's in the Mug

Shop small in OTR this holiday season.
In a departure from previous years Holidays in the Bag, the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce has launched its new holiday campaign, Holidays in the Mug
Per Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce,
"Cincinnatians visiting historic Over-the-Rhine this holiday season will have an extra incentive to support locally-owned businesses during shop local events, and will have the opportunity to purchase a limited edition OTR mug that will hold several shop-local holiday specials. The mug, designed by Jessica Sheldon of OTR-based Cityscape Tiles, will feature an image of Music Hall and include a Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday coupon for $5 off at Taft’s Ale House, Coffee Card good for one drip coffee or hot tea from a participating local coffee vendor, and a CSO’s “first-timer” card that will provide $10 tickets to any first-time guests of the CSO, Pops, or May Festival. The mugs will be available for purchase for $15 at participating retailers in Over-the-Rhine, beginning Black Friday through December. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to OTR’s own Play Library, a lending library for toys."

The Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce also touched on the fact that 39 new businesses joined the OTR neighborhood in 2017 including recipients of the Chamber’s Business First Grant, Brown Bear Bakery and Spruce Nail Salon.
