Métamorphoses at the Ledge Gallery

The Ledge Gallery described Julie Hill as a talented miniaturist and accomplished baker with a love of portraiture. I was intrigued at the title of the show Métamorphoses, turns out Ms. Hill created her tiny portraits on shrinky dinks then baked them. The artwork was dense with detail, thanks to the fact it had been shrunk down. I do have to admit however that Métamorphoses was a little challenging for my old man eyes.

The Ledge Gallery provides magnifying glasses for every Tiny Town show, but this is the first time I actually needed to use them.

Everything in Tiny Town (Maya Drozdz's name for her tiny apartment/art galary) is tiny, except for her Mokka Express, which is the biggest Mokka Express I've ever seen.

After the gallery was a slow meander around OTR.
