Taste of Belgium, The Banks Bistro
Taste of Belgium's newest location, The Banks Bistro at 16 W Freedom Way is set to open this Friday Oct 28th. If you've eaten at one of ToB's other locations you already know how incredible the food is. The good news is, they've reimagined the whole menu and its been updated, from putine with a Belgian twist to three new version of mussels. You really can't go wrong with dinner and they'll still have all your breakfast favorites.
The Banks Bistro is the largest location to date, ToB has put the lessons they've learned over the years to improve the customer experience. They'll also be well prepared for game day with 50 beers taps, if you can't find a beer you like here you might as well give up. Talking beer, they also have a crowler station so you can take your favorites to go. Plus Jean-Francois Flechet told me on game days they'll have crowlers out front on ice so tailgaters can grab and go.

not a tourist's look at downtown's parks
Cincinnati, if you hadn't noticed has some stunning parks. @igerscincinnati and @urbancincy thought so too and decided to organized a walking/streetcar photo tour. Cincinnati's oldest park is Piatt Park, which I see on a daily basis bookended by two of the city's newest parks, Smale and Washington.
I'm not totally sure what is happening here. Enjoy it while it lasts.

record setting Cincinnati streetcar ride
The days are getting shorter and the sun is setting earlier and earlier. Whats a bike club to do when the sun sets at 7pm?
Last night the Urban Basin Bicycle Club set a world record by packing a Cincinnati Streetcar with bikes.

Cincinnati Street Food Festival
In the better late than never category comes the Cincinnati Street Food Festival. We've been out of town the last two years so it was nice to finally get back. I wish Cincinnati had more of these street festivals. East McMillian was shut down for the afternoon so people from Walnut Hills and all over the city could enjoy one of the cities biggest public spaces, its streets.
