Cincinnati Imports

Even though its been hotter than snot the Imports happy hour had a pretty good turnout Wednesday night at the City View Tavern. This place has some history to it, apparently Charles Manson made a habit of drinking tequila shots there so they stopped serving it. Not a big deal to me though.
Everyone raved about the burgers, next time I need to go hungry and try one.

You don't have to be a transplant to come to a Cincinnati Imports happy hour, anyone who feels they can never have enough open-minded social media connected spontaneous friends should attend one and hang out. You won't be sorry you did.

  2. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think there's a good reason why this place is called City View Tavern and not, say, Great Burger Tavern. Not to knock the place -- I'd gladly go again for the view, but not for the food.

  3. LMAO Maya you're cracking me up.
I was skeptical about the burger as it was, I've never heard anyone talk about it before Wednesday night.

  4. Their burgers aren't great. The view is fantastic, the burger entirely overrated.

  5. I can't speak for the burger, but I can tell you that the popcorn I ordered was of the microwaved variety. I know because it was served in the bag.

  6. Mediocre as it may be, everyone should eat at least one Big Ted during their tenure in Cincy

  7. Great bar, great view, when cell phones first came out I used to use the deck as my get away from my boss. I would hang there and make calls. The burger is over rated but a good one, my only grip is they use faux mayo. I take my own Hellmans packets.

  8. Vudutu, I love that your coping mechanism is to bring your own mayo -- it reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when they brought their own maple syrup. Whatever works!
