I had half the summer off and every time I walked past this place it smelled so good. But 98 – 101° in August isn’t the optimal time for piping hot comfort food. Finally yesterday a day off and I walk over and grab one. Was it worth the wait? Not bad, I wouldn’t pass up Javier’s for it, but I would get it again. The Christian Moerlein Winter Warmer Ale went with it perfectly.
