temporary insanity
That’s the only way I can imagine this happened. Ms. 5chw4r7z won two tickets to a free screening of 27 Dresses and the voucher she had looked artsy so I thought it was an independent movie or something and every time I asked what it was about she would change the subject. She also told me it was in Springdale, that meant nothing to me, she could have told me it was in Manitoba and I would've been as clueless. It was only after she said out near Jungle Jim’s that it registered what was going on, we made super good time from Elm St until we hit Rt 75, and then drove at 15mph for the next hour until we got to the movie complex. One cool thing about the Springdale 18: Cinema de Lux (how pretentious is that?) is they have Chatter's Bar and Grill, pricey but the food was actually good. The service sucked but they food was good.
Now for the movie, all you women can skip to the last line, men keep reading.
Yeah, it was bad, it got painful about an hour in and I started looking around for something sharp to jab in my eye and end the pain. Do you know how hard it is to find something sharp and pointy in a movie theater? Its hard impossible. By the end of the movie I was crying but it got me brownie points for being sensitive. You guys can all skip this next line.
27 Dresses was very touching and romantic and honestly I had tears in my eyes at the end. I highly recommended you take your husband/boyfriend to see it.
Too funny. I actually had preview tickets as well! I didn't go which maybe was good because meeting the 5chw4rtz's the first time in Sprindale as opposed to say Piatt Park would have been to much to bear.
