Americano Burger Bar

I've been pretty excited about the opening of Americano on Race St downtown. All the excitement in Cincinnati has centered around OTR so its nice something has opened blocks from my place. What can you say about a new burger place in town? Its amazing how much everyone has stepped up their burger game in the past few years. If anyone is ranking places these days they are really just splitting hairs and Americano deserves to be in the conversation with everyone else.
If you're looking for Americano you can't miss it. Located in the center of the block between 6th and 5th in the 84.51° building that we affectionately call the Death Star. If you've seen it you know why.
But time for the burgers, we started digging in and they're loaded and juicy. Ms 5chw4r7z remarks how she'll have to wash her hands when done and I'm like hands? I'm going to need a shower! At any rate, the burgers good, juicy and messy. I usually don't order onion rings but they came highly recommended from Cincynomerati and I have to say they were magical. Crispy and doughy at the same time. It almost didn't seem possible but there they were doing a mouth soiree on my tongue.
So there you have it, you can fight the crowds in OTR for a burger at Krueger's or Nation or you could head downtown and not wait an hour. Either way you can't lose and you could actually gain. An hour.
Oh and if you go on Tuesdays the house burger is just $5!
