Fountain Day
As a lead off to spring and baseball everyone gathers downtown to kick of the season and celebrate the return of water to the fountain,and the evening was just perfect for it.
Got there early to beat the rush and had a few drinks at Mynt. Love the place or hate it, they have the million dollar view of Fountain Square.
Luckily, the high winds from earlier in the day had died, can't imagine the water whipping around the square in 40mph winds.
A few words from Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls the valve was cranked and the water flowed.
The Fountain just gets so dramatic when the sun sets.

Is that the real valve? Do they have some sort of cover over it?
