Ault Park

It's amazing all the wildlife you see once you get out into the sticks. This is the farthest we traveled out of downtown in awhile. Deer, lizards and weddings? Lots of interesting stuff when you leave civilization behind.

    First, I love the fact that you refer to Hyde Park as "the sticks". I have done the same.

    But... who needs to go so far. We have seen four deer on top of Prospect Hill (north of Boal) and there are Lazarus lizard all over the hill.

    You can find the Lazarus lizards on a lot of the public hillside stairs around OTR.
    If Hyde Park is in the sticks, OTR is the burbs ?
