The City Flea

once upon a time at The City Flea you could walk right up to a food truck and order your favorite goodness!
little boy: grandpa, you're such a kidder and spin the wildest tails
little girl: shhush! when was this grandpa, it sounds magical!
a long long time ago in a hot sunny place called Vine and Central where streetpops would melt before your eyes

does anyone remember those days ? back when the streetcar haters said no one goes downtown let alone OTR?
since then the Flea has made an appearance or a bunch at Washington Park and the crowds are always amazing. people watching on an empty stomach, booyaa!
no goofing around next Flea, I'm swopping in on all the food first thing

this is the point the tears started welling up in my eyes




i did end up snagging a Mt Carmel chocolate stout ice cream sandwich which I shared with every Flea goer in the park by dripping it on everyone
