Roebling Bridge

This new work on the Roebling Bridge isn't the biggest project happening in Cincinnati, but sometimes little things have a big impact too. Take for instance the eastern walkway on Roebling Bridge, its not the end of the world that it has been incredibly inconvenient to use, it has only been open from the Kentucky side for ages. But starting June 4th a new section of walkway will be opened to connect the bridge and Covington to Smale Park and all the views that side of the bridge has to offer. yes the western walkway provides this connectivity also, but not without dodging traffic coming off and on the bridge.

This is one section of walkway that wraps around steps allowing pedestrians access to the top level of Smale Park.
Even back when these steps were open they dropped you off into the middle of nowhere, that's all changing at hyper-speed now.
