You really should have been at Second Sunday on Main because it was happening. A mini parade, New Orleans style jazz bands and plenty of food, beer and retail vendors to go around.
If you missed it you still have two more chances, September 9th and Oct 14th.

The best way to get to and from anything happening in OTR is by bike. Or streetcar or almost anything that doesn't involve a car. Unless you like cruising around in traffic looking for parking, then OK, drive.
