guerilla art and streetcars
guerrilla art: a method of art making which entails leaving anonymous art pieces in public places. It can be done for a variety of reasons, to make a statement for instance or to spread good karma
A bunch of scofflaws descended on OTR way too early Sunday to welcome the Cincinnati streetcar on its first circuit of the OTR/Downtown loop. I'm not sure how rigorous the city enforces vandalism laws but with the current climate in city hall I guess no one was taking any chances. But from the reactions I saw from huge smiles and happy faces many peoples days were made.
After that I witnessed the streetcar downtown for the first time. Exciting stuff. This first picture was taken from GABP which is nowhere because thats where people who don't live in the city says it goes.
You might as well take a deep breath and relax, because you're gonna stress yourself out trying to get your car around the streetcar only to be blocked by cyclists flouting traffic laws.
