the grass is always greener, now so are the cars
The University of Cincinnati recently installed a charging station for electric vehicles in Lot 13 adjacent to Wherry Hall. One of the biggest complaints about electric cars are their range. They could be driven to work but would have a limited charge left for running errands after work and still being able to get home. That should now longer be a limitation now that the charging staion can completely charge a vehicle within eight hours.
Lisa Bunkley-Boyd, interim director of Parking Services, said, "Electric cars are becoming popular, and we have people using them here," she says. "On-campus electric vehicle-charging stations are another option for people to be economical and environmentally friendly."
