The Art of Food

The 8th Annual Art of Food at The Carnegie was served up last Friday to eager food and art starved patrons. Food as art and food as the subject of art made for a culinary delight as people moved between galleries. All the characters from Alice in Wonderland moved among patrons throughout the night in a fanciful tea party.

These edible chocolate masterpieces were done by Laurie Hughes. Although they are too beautiful to actually eat.
People who know me wouldn't be surprised this piece by Tony Dotson was my favorite. My favorite genre of art, outsider art, combined with my favorite food.
