Five Points Biergarten

Clouds, a rain drop or two and a bunch of tree made for a, if not cool, then comfortable afternoon for Walnut Hill's best popup space, the Five Points Biergarten. They had Rhinegeist beer delivered in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner by pedal power. Maybe a nice link and connection from a neighborhood who has made it to the next one up and coming.
Someone called Walnut Hills the next OTR, I see where they are coming from but I don't agree with the analogy at all. Where OTR is all about density, Walnut Hills is going to be more about families, or people wanting just a little more space and a little less energy.
If you're not up for the crowds and the intensity of an OTR bar on a Sunday, the Five Points Biergarten is about as laid back as it gets.
It appears again August 18 and September 15th. Mark your calendar now.
