OTR Flags

This summer for eight weeks after Washington Park's grand opening 100 colorful hand painted flags will fly all over the park. Some will be professionally painted,or painted by real artists but most will be painted by members of the community. Angela Morrow came up with this wonderful idea of inclusion and ran it past some friends and the project was born. There has been great interest in sponsoring the artists flags but there is still room for the community to contribute.

OTR Flags Workshop

From the OTR Flags facebook page;
OTR FLAGS, a community-wide project, inspires ownership of the park through art. Art is a safe, positive catalyst of expression enabling Over-the-Rhine community members to develop a common story or an experience and connection with the Washington Park landmark. All proceeds from OTR FLAGS will be allocated for further programming at Washington Park.
