If I had to use one word to describe the Landor party last Thursday night it would be astounding. But its my blog so I don't have to limit myself to one word, or even one picture for that matter.
If you weren't there you literally missed out, I think I introduced half the people downtown to the half they didn't know. Not even exaggerating, if that wasn't amazing enough, somebody introduced me to the three people there I didn't know.
I have an outrageous story involving a business card too, but can't put that ish in ink, you'll have to track me down in meatspace for the scoop.
The camera took a bath in at least three beers that night, what the hell was going on? Arm waving intense convo's and general exuberance over an incredible evening,
Remember that song; that party last night was awfully crazy I wish we taped it, I danced my ass off and... drank my beer and... but my good friends is all I need
yeah, it was like that.
I'm pissed at messing this picture up, Anne Wainscott is held in high regard at Landor, sort of fashion illustrator royalty.
Rushed + excited + star struck does not result in a quality picture.
Talking to some other party goers we wondered why something like this isn't happening downtown all the time, later on I talked with one of the organizers and found out what it cost to put on.
OH, that'ssss why events like this are rare, they ain't cheap.
You watch out for Jenny, she's going places.
