I refuse to read anything into a preseason game, a game where half the players may or may not be with the team when the season starts.

Now we're getting into my favorite time of yeat at Parker Flats, tailgate season! Parties are the raison d'être. Sunday, hot and humid until that storm rolled through the air dried right out. You shouldn't take too much from preseason games so it cracked me up, viewer comments on the news, a lady complaining about how bad the game was. Two points here, who was the brain surgeon that decided that we give a crap what other people think of the news. If intelligent people would weight in it would be one thing but unfortunately its the people with nothing else going on in their lives and have nothing to say. Number two, what didn't she understand about pre season? We're watching a bunch of guys who won't make our team play a bunch of other guys who won't make their team.
So, much like the Bengals figuring out how they're gonna play this season, we're game planning our upcoming tailgates.

And boy, almost everyday I say there won't be too many more days like today but there always are.

The day began with a loud roar.
9am Sunday morning we wake up to Steelers polka and we are the champions on a 6 hour continuous loop.
These guys were beyond obnoxious, but what ya gonna do? We put up with it, and to tell the truth, once we got some breakfast and coffee its was all kind of amusing.
Another Bengals game with a different outcome. Lots of cheering last night versus the booing last week.
Of course they were still blacked out, what the hell, no football at all for us last night, until we got to the roof and watched it on the scoreboard.
Gordon Bombay, world famous photog from Queen City Discovery and featured in the Cincinnati Business Journal stopped in to take some pictures. Gordon gets into some sketchy places to capture urban ruins and other oddities around Cincinnati.
Not that Parker Flats is either of those, but we do offer some unique views.
