Mortar Cincinnati, a group who targets non traditional entrepreneurs and provides them an array of services including mentorship for their budding business, hosted Morsels of Mortar this past Labor Day to showcase some of these promising food businesses and give them exposure.
I'm most excited about
Fryed. I think Lindsey Metz is going to be printing money when she starts selling her French Fries around the area. She said she is planning on events, The City Flea for example, more than a brick and mortar location.
Jazzy Sweeties had a small sampling of desserts. Hey, what else needs to be said besides dessert? Jasmine is cooking out of her kitchen right now but would like to open a shop in East Walnut Hills at some point.
JameriSol cooks Jamaican-American food on the south side of Findlay Market on the weekends. I'm a picky eater and still thought her vegan cooking was really good.
Aunt Flora used to have a brick and mortar on 4th, at least I think that was her. Anyhow I though her peach cobbler tasted incredible.
