Urban Basin Bicycle Club State St ride
The Urban Basin Bicycle Club kicks off every Tuesday night from Fountain Square at 6:30 sharpish. Some times it even leaves by 7 on a good night. While mostly the rides meander around downtown, OTR and/or the riverfront this ride was a little longer. I loved riding out over Hopple street overpass to Beekman St. There is this short intensely steep hill that provides a downhill ride all the way back to Queensgate and then back downtown. If you've never been on one of the Urban Basin Bicycle Club rides yet grab that creaky old bike and head downtown. What are you waiting for?
There is always a briefing before they leave so everyone is up to speed and know what to expect. Mostly all you need to know is stay in the middle of the pack and everything will be OK.
Mill Creek, voted the best place to spot a three eyed fish or six legged frog by the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce.
Mostly thanks to the P&G factory up stream. But it looks pretty.
