Cincideutsch Christkindlmarkt
The Christkindlmarkt will be happening at Findlay Market the next two weekends (December 6-8 and 13-15), taking Over-the-Rhine back to its rich German heritage. Vendors will staff charming half-timbered houses, offering a large scale of traditional holiday sweets and European baked goods, Glühwein (hot spiced wine) and other hot beverages, beer, and handcrafted gifts and seasonal decorations.
Cincideutsch President and Co-Founder, Olaf Scheil says, “The Christkindlmarkt is a tradition that is hundreds of years old, originating in Germany and Austria. It is a place for people to get together with family and friends to enjoy the seasonal weather and celebrate the holidays. We are thrilled to be able to bring this tradition to the people of Cincinnati for the second year in a row.”
You're going to be at Findlay anyhow, make sure to visit the Christkindlmarktwhile you're there.
I don't know about you, they had me at beer.
Cincideutsch opened the season last weekend on Fountain Square.
