something amazing is happening and we have front row seats
I've been bullish on Cincinnati forever, I think everyone knows that. But Cincinnati has surpassed even my wildest expectations lately. New restaurants and bars opening at a fast and furious pace. A ground breaking for dunnhumby Centre and rapid progress there.
Six new business's have opened on W 4th recently, slow but steady progress.
But this week's announcement of a 30 story residential tower with a ground floor grocery to replace the ugliest garage downtown at Race and 4th has even me amazed.
OTR has been getting all the love lately but it looks like developments in my neck of the woods are finally heating up.
Things are changing and changing fast.

I have to say that the Pogues garage is one of the cities biggest eyesores. Especially that 4th Street ramp. While I am sad to lose Tower Place Mall, I am hoping that it spurs more stores to move downtown in all these empty store fronts on 4th. The next tower needs to be large enough to provide more reasonably rated apartments. All luxury certainly keeps the streets dull compared to having a bit more affordable places for the shopping age segment. I need to start shopping for a souped up shopping cart. I like those one handled kind that can be attached to the back of a bike.
