People, people who aren’t content to sit around and imagine how exciting life can be, they want in on the story, to be part of it and rewrite it. The story is everything.
“I hung out at the mall Friday night and hit St*rb$cks.”
BAH!
They want in on a story.
A story like the one told this past weekend, a confluence of a half dozens stories going on and blowing up into one of the greatest weekends in the CBD/OTR for the year. Fountain Square, Final Friday or anywhere in OTR, all you had to do was stumble from one adventure to the next. It was all hopping with just about the best weather you could imagine to take it all in.
You don't know how excited I got when I saw this, but I have a feeling its not to be. It was way too hot upstairs at Neon's to hang around long and besides outside was the place to be, people watching and hanging out.
Can wallpaper get anymore urban than this? Pigeons, rats, fireplugs and parking meters. Love it. I'm sure all the plants on there are hardy city dwellers too. But I couldn't tell you.
back over to Lackman Bar for the grand opening weekend. It was packed for sure but s'ok as a bunch of peeps were there.
OK, so this is crazy Alex comes back from the bar, hey 5chw4r7z, the guys over there from Senate don't like you.
WFT!!
You know, sometimes I forget people read my blog but still. It sucked sitting there trying to remember what I said. Seems to me all I've done is rave about them and point people their way.
Took me awhile, funny how Alex would try and change the subject and I'd drag it back. But looking back through my old posts the next morning I found I did complain about how expensive Senate is. But come'on, you can't be mad at me for calling a $10 hot dog expensive can you?
I'm going up to Senate and we're hugging it out.
Now I know how everyone else feels.
Staggering home, I'm jaywalking across 4th and Race when a car comes shooting by slams on the brakes shouting at me. you know what 5chw4r7z!! Mojojacob is complaining We were just at Lackman looking for you. How random is that me walking her driving and we cross paths like that?
I was laughing so hard walking home I entered the next tweet into a text message, wonder how hard she laughed over that?

I am lucky, fortunate honored to know so many talented people in Cincinnati and when I found out how many were involved in this project I knew I had to get involved too. A bunch of us got together to form a twitter group to help paint and we had a blast. With Matthew Dayler from higherlevelart running up and down the street as head cheerleader, or Tom Sawyer if you will, painting the street was way more fun than work. It really was contagious all the energy and excitement happening on 12th St in Otr.
